Front cover book illustration for the first in Justin Somper's Vampirates series.
I was the genuine, commissioned illustrator for Vampirates and I've seen a few people accepting credit for my work (tut tut) so I'm putting up lo-res jpegs of the actual original artwork for the book covers and character illustrations which appear inside the books and on the Vampirates' website so that universal truth and harmony can be restored once more.

Just a reminder that all of these Vampirates illustrations are protected by copyright, not just mine but the publisher's copyright and the author's copyright. Please respect the copyrights, thanks.

Yep! I'm the commissioned artist in the UK for Vampirates books and website. I've done all the book covers and all the characters on the website and inside pages of the books. Are you a Vampirates fan? :bow:

Haha! Thanks ChrystalHex. Justin Somper's a good writer isn't he? I'm thinking of doing a few extra illustrations of the characters just for fun.

yes he is! and, Vampirates is a series right? i have to find the english version and read it too, since i've read the first book in norwegian :) and yeah, you can do that, it'd be really cool. and you're really good at 3D pictures, they look so real! maybe you can make a picture of Cutlass Cate, or Bart :D or the Tempest twins!

Yes, there have been three books so far. Demons of the Ocean, Tide of Terror and Blood Captain. :) Okay, I'll keep you informed. Thanks for the compliments ChrystalHeX, you're very kind. I'd love to illustrate those but I can only illustrate the ones which the publishers allow me to, and they haven't asked me to do those yet. Sorry :(

Where does that line come from > "imma cheating bag of shrimps who'll murder you in your sleep." ? I'm guessing Pirates of the Caribbean. It makes me laugh every time I read it. :D

Oh, ok then, but can't you draw them, like in fanart? wait..that's my job O.O

Ooooooh, that line comes from me :D when i talk alot with people i get in a random mood and start talking blabberish. this time it was with ~dawowcow when we were talking about something and i came up with that. oddly enough most of my nonsense-sentences end up with someone dying or me killing something O.o hmmm, must be a part of that assassin-syndrome then...

ah, see? that is the beginning of my random-moodness, you may be in danger, pack your bags and run for your life D:
